I’m a storyteller at heart, drawn to the space between tradition and innovation.
Navigating an evolving film industry means embracing both the heritage of celluloid and the possibilities of modern digital cinema. For me, visual storytelling is an ongoing dialogue between light, texture, and emotion — each project an opportunity to experiment, grow, and adapt. Collaboration and creative risk-taking sit at the center of my process, and I’ve learned that inspiration often comes from unexpected places—when approached with an open mind and heart.
I’m based in Los Angeles, working as a cinematographer across narrative films, music videos, and commercials worldwide. My work moves fluidly between genres and mediums, often exploring the intersection of human intimacy and visual atmosphere. Whether I’m capturing a quiet moment between characters or shaping the look of a large-scale campaign, my goal is always the same: to craft images that resonate beyond the frame.
I was born in Colorado and raised in a family of artists. I made my first film when I was five, and that early spark turned into a lifelong passion for storytelling. Over the years, my projects grew in ambition, culminating in my first feature-length film before finishing high school. That experience led to the Frances Larkin McCommon Full Tuition Scholarship at the Savannah College of Art & Design, where I refined my craft and graduated in 2020.
